Beef Nachos With A Kick Recipe

  • 1 pound ground round steak
  • 2 teaspoons Morton® Hot Salt™, divided
  • 1 teaspoon taco spice blend
  • 1 cup shredded nacho/taco cheese blend
  • 1 (13.5 ounce) package tortilla chips
  • Sliced black olives
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Chopped green onions
  • Sour cream
  1. In large skillet, crumble and cook ground beef until no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Stir in 1 teaspoon Morton(R) Hot Salt(TM) and taco spice blend. Arrange chips on large oven proof shallow baking dish. Sprinkle generously with cooked meat, then cheese. Sprinkle remaining 1 teaspoon Morton(R) Hot Salt(TM) over cheese.
  2. Bake nachos at 350 degrees F (or microwave) until cheese melts, about 5 to 8 minutes.
  3. Top with olives, tomatoes and green onions. Dollop with sour cream; serve immediately
