- 1 cup T. Marzetti's® Old Fashioned Caramel Apple Dip
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, chilled
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 6 large Granny Smith apples
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. For crisp mixture: Cut 3 tbsp. margarine into oats, sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg until crumbly. Cut 1/3 top off of apples and chop into small pieces. Core out center. Mix remaining apple pieces with crisp mixture. Spread remaining butter inside of apples. Fill apples with crisp mixture, pressing firmly. Bake 20 minutes. Top with apple dip. Bake an additional 20 minutes.
