- 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh lemon peel
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon coarse garlic salt
- 12 slices diagonal cut thin slices toasted French baguette or pre toasted crackers
- 2 ripe Hass avocados, pitted, peeled and cut into slices, dipped in fresh lemon juice
- Combine crab, mayonnaise, green onion, cheese, pimento, lemon peel, lemon juice and garlic salt.
- Top with 4 teaspoons of crab mixture then place an avocado slice on each toasted baguette slice. Repeat preparing all crostinis. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
