Avocado Crab Crostini Recipe

  • 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh lemon peel
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon coarse garlic salt
  • 12 slices diagonal cut thin slices toasted French baguette or pre toasted crackers
  • 2 ripe Hass avocados, pitted, peeled and cut into slices, dipped in fresh lemon juice
  1. Combine crab, mayonnaise, green onion, cheese, pimento, lemon peel, lemon juice and garlic salt.
  2. Top with 4 teaspoons of crab mixture then place an avocado slice on each toasted baguette slice. Repeat preparing all crostinis. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
