- 1 bottle dry red wine
- 2 cups tawny or ruby port
- 1 cup brandy
- 8 cubes sugar
- Peel of 2 oranges
- 6 cloves
- 1 stick cinnamon
- Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and heat slowly without allowing the mixture to reach simmering point. Pour into 4-ounce punch glasses.
