Asparagus au Gratin Recipe

  • 1½ pounds asparagus (about 24 asparagus)
  • 2 ounces shredded parmesan cheese (about ¾ cup)
  • ¼ cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon dry parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a steamer.
  2. Trim the asparagus and add them to the steamer basket. Cook for 2 minutes covered. Transfer the asparagus to a greased baking sheet. In a bowl, mix together the cheese, breadcrumbs, oil, mustard, parsley, and season to taste. Spread over the asparagus and bake for 10 minutes or until the mixture is golden brown.
