Adzuki Pate Recipe

  • 2 cups cooked adzuki beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green bell pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 scallion, finely chopped (about 2 tablespoons)
  • Sesame crackers
  1. In a medium bowl, with a potato masher or a fork, mash the beans with the soy sauce, chopped pepper; and ginger, until pureed but not smooth.
  2. Spoon into a small serving dish and top with scallion. Serve with sesame crackers.
