3-Bean Chili Recipe
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 pound lean ground turkey breast
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with jalapenos
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can black beans, drained
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- In a large pot, heat the oil on medium-low. Add the onion and saute until soft (about 3 to 5 minutes). Add the turkey and brown it (about 5 minutes). Add the remaining ingredients. Stir and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
